Firefly Electrical was founded by master electrician Felix Keil in 2014. After working for numerous other electrical companies, he felt the desire to start his own to achieve two primary goals. First, he wanted to deliver higher quality services than his other employers offered, believing that customers deserved nothing short of first-rate solutions. Second, our founder wanted to establish a company people enjoyed working for, thus attracting talented local electricians who valued professionalism and honesty.

After more than a decade in business, our founder’s goals have been realized. We are a premier electrical service provider that has partnered with thousands across the Greater Denver area. More About Our Owner, Felix Keil

Felix Keil has been in the foothills of Denver since 2000. After working for numerous electricians and contractors in the construction trade, Felix decided he felt most passionate about electrical services. Since 2014, he has worked independently in the trade as the leader of Firefly Electric and earned a stellar reputation among customers and fellow professionals.

Felix is married to his wife, Sophie, and they love being parents to their spirited and sweet daughter, Lily. They share their house (and sometimes their couch) with their dog, Bernie, and cat, Kit Kat. In the summer, Felix loves to play golf. He and his family enjoy hiking, camping, and snowboarding on Colorado’s famous powder.

They were efficient and took great care and hanging my six light fixtures and three large pictures in my stairwell. They came prepared and were on time. I felt as though customer satisfaction was of most important to both of them. I would highly recommend using Tessla electric and requesting these technicians. He did a very thorough job inspecting and attaching our loose smoke detector. Tesla did a great job for us. Felix installed the electrical for our AC. Ben installed dimmers on our lights and ceiling fans and also under counter lights in the kitchen. Fantastic Job. I would definitely use Tesla Electric again.

He was on time, thoughtful, and did a great job. I did not realize that light bulbs did not come with the chandelier. When he realized that I did not have them, he suggested that I run to Home Depot to pick them up as Home Depot is less than 2 miles away. When I had questions while in the store, he helped my husband to take photos of what I needed. He was just finishing up when I got back. He put the lights in and we now have a functioning chandelier and a functioning light switch. We really appreciate his kindness and wanting to complete the job for us.
